Automotive Technician II

We are seeking a skilled Automotive Technician II to join our team at Cobb County, GA. As a key member of our fleet maintenance team, you will be responsible for performing routine and complex repairs on vehicles, ensuring they are safe and roadworthy.
Key Responsibilities- Perform vehicle inspections, including testing and diagnosing problems with vehicle systems
- Conduct routine and complex repairs on vehicles, including gathering information from vehicle operator reports and diagnostic data
- Perform preventive maintenance on vehicles, including checking and replacing fluids, oil, and other essential components
- Determine the amount of materials required for projects and assist in monitoring inventory levels
- Operate and maintain various machinery, equipment, power tools, hand tools, and supplies
- High School Diploma or GED required; supplemented by vocational training and two years as an automobile technician or four years of experience demonstrating progressive skills in the mechanical repair of vehicles
- Valid driver's license required
- Two or more Automotive Service Excellence (ASE) current certifications preferred
Performance of essential functions may require exposure to adverse environmental conditions, such as dirt, dust, pollen, odors, wetness, humidity, rain, fumes, smoke, temperature and noise extremes, hazardous materials, fire, unsafe structures, heights, confined spaces, machinery, vibrations, electric currents, traffic hazards, bright/dim lights, toxic agents, animal/wildlife attacks, animal/human bites, explosives, firearms, water hazards, violence, disease, pathogenic substances, or rude/irate customers.
