Job Description

As a Financial Services Representative at Citizens, you will play a vital role in helping customers achieve their financial goals. You will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, building strong relationships, and offering tailored financial solutions to meet their needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide trusted advice and guidance to customers on financial matters
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers through effective communication and problem-solving skills
  • Recommend and assist customers with financial solutions, including spending, saving, borrowing, and investing
  • Collaborate with partners in Wealth Management, Mortgage, and Business Banking to help customers with complex financial needs
  • Make outbound calls to acquire new customers and schedule financial checkup appointments

Requirements:

  • High School degree or GED required
  • 2 years of sales and customer service experience, demonstrating an ability to meet or exceed goals
  • Ability to effectively ask questions and identify needs to improve the customer relationship
  • Proven success with building relationships, and recommending and referring products and services through in-person and phone interactions
  • Demonstrated skills in using digital technology to support the delivery of business goals
  • Aptitude to problem solve and provide solutions to customer issues
  • Recognized ability to strengthen relationships with teammates, business partners, and specialists through collaboration
  • Self-motivated, confident, and ability to multitask effectively
  • Ability to work branch hours, which can include weekends and evenings
  • Meet and comply with all requirements set forth in the SAFE Act, including, but not limited to, successful completion of the pre-employment screening checks and obtaining a unique identifier from the NMLS
  • Completion of a video interview assessment as part of the application

Preferred Skills/Experience:

  • 1 year cash handling experience
  • Spanish speaking preferred

Hours and Work Schedule:

  • Hours per Week: 40
  • Work Schedule: Varies with branch needs and may include weekends and evenings
