About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Data Quality Engineer to develop and implement procedures that ensure the accuracy and integrity of our organization's data. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical background and excellent communication skills.

Responsibilities:
  • Analyze and monitor data quality, examining complex data and collaborating with engineering groups to develop techniques for testing, reporting findings, and setting service level standards.
  • Create and implement an enterprise-wide Data Quality (DQ) strategy by working with business and technology teams to ensure alignment and dedication to objectives.
  • Conduct data quality analysis and discovery efforts, resolve data integrity and data quality issues for major initiatives, and ensure timely and high-quality delivery.
  • Develop and implement data quality standards, policies, and procedures to ensure the quality, accuracy, and consistency of data.
  • Support efforts to cleanse and enrich data sets, including duplication, standardization, and data augmentation where necessary.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in statistics, mathematics, computer science, information management, or similar.
  • At least 5 years of experience in data quality assurance, data analysis, or a related role.
  • Proficiency in programming languages: Java and/or C#.
  • Exposure working with various database technologies and methodologies.
  • Extensive experience with MS Excel, Power Query, and VBScript.
  • Exceptional analytical and communication skills.

The estimated salary for this position is $85,000 - $105,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
