Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Patient Access Specialist II to join our team in the Emergency Department. This role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities
  • Complete the financial clearance process for patients, ensuring accurate and timely registration.
  • Interview patients and guarantors to gather insurance information and verify eligibility.
  • Work collaboratively with medical staff, nursing, and ancillary departments to ensure seamless patient care.
  • Utilize Epic system to manage patient registration and insurance verification.
Qualifications
  • One or more years of customer service experience and applicable computer knowledge and skills.
  • Preferred qualifications include post-secondary education, experience in a clinical setting, and previous Epic experience.
