We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented French Language and Culture Tutor to join our team at the Academic Success Center. As a French Language and Culture Tutor, you will play a critical role in supporting students in advancing their competencies in the French language.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide individualized and group tutoring sessions to students in French language and culture
- Assist students with study strategies, content review, and interpretation
- Develop and implement effective tutoring plans to meet the needs of students
- Collaborate with other tutors and staff to ensure a comprehensive support system for students
- Stay up-to-date with curriculum and pedagogical best practices in French language and culture instruction
Requirements:
- 3.0 overall GPA (on 4.0 scale)
- B or better in French coursework
- Possess the potential and ability to develop language skills to students/peers
- Patience and strong communication skills
Working Conditions:
This is a student employee position, and the selected candidate will work on campus. The position requires a strong commitment to student success and a passion for teaching and learning.
