Senior Scrum Master

Cognizant's Digital Engineering practice is seeking a highly qualified Senior Scrum Master with experience developing and building hard-working, scalable, enterprise applications.
You will be part of a digital software team that works on high-demand applications.
Our engineers have a passion for high-quality, reliable, and maintainable code.
You will work side by side with product managers, designers, and clients, making decisions together to quickly deliver valuable working software to clients and their users.
Our engineers are agile and retrospective, and not afraid to identify what we're doing wrong, so we can fix it, and what we're doing right, so we can improve on it.

Responsibilities
- Lead project planning sessions to set project goals and objectives.
- Oversee the development and implementation of project plans using Agile PLM and MS Project.
- Provide guidance and support to team members on Scrum and Agile methodologies.
- Monitor project progress and make adjustments as needed to ensure timely completion.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure project alignment with business objectives.
- Facilitate daily stand-ups, sprint planning, and retrospectives as a Scrum Master.
- Ensure all project documentation is complete and up-to-date.
- Manage project budgets and resources to ensure cost-effectiveness.
- Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders and senior management.
- Implement best practices for project management to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
- Ensure customer satisfaction by delivering high-quality project outcomes.
- Utilize MS Project for scheduling, tracking, and reporting project progress.
- Collaborate with finance teams to maintain open invoices and apply cash to invoices.
Qualifications
- Possess a strong understanding of Scrum and Agile methodologies.
- Have experience as a CX-Scrum Master with a proven track record.
- Demonstrate proficiency in Agile PLM and MS Project.
- Exhibit excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Show ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Have experience in maintaining open invoices and applying cash to invoices.
- Display strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Certifications Required
- Certified Scrum Master (CSM) Project Management Professional (PMP)
