Key Responsibilities:
As a Customer Engagement Associate, your primary duties will include:
- Overseeing a portfolio of clients within a designated area, ensuring a comprehensive understanding of their order habits, shipping preferences, and financial requirements.
- Proactively communicating with clients and sales representatives to guarantee that all expectations are met and exceeded.
- Informing clients about upcoming promotions, sales, and any changes in internal processes that may affect their orders.
- Taking ownership of the communication process, collaborating with various departments to resolve inquiries and issues within a 24-hour timeframe.
- Actively contributing to sales initiatives alongside the assigned sales representative and Customer Care team.
- Gaining in-depth knowledge of the Customer Care Department's objectives and the significance of your role in achieving these goals.
- Understanding the top 20% of backup accounts and reviewing all associated standard operating procedures.
- Processing orders, tracking product status, and managing customer inquiries through various communication channels.
- Resolving product or service issues by clarifying customer complaints, identifying the root cause, and providing effective solutions.
- Maintaining financial accuracy by processing customer credit adjustments as needed.
- Generating and analyzing sales reports to identify purchasing trends and support suggestive sales.
- Offering alternative solutions for out-of-stock items.
- Opening customer accounts in collaboration with the assigned sales representative.
- Updating customer Master File records to ensure accuracy.
- Recommending potential enhancements to products or services based on customer feedback.
- Establishing and maintaining effective working relationships with all support departments.
Qualifications:
To excel in this role, candidates should demonstrate:
- Strong organizational and communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with both internal and external stakeholders.
- Capability to work under pressure, manage multiple tasks, and meet strict deadlines.
- Self-motivation and discipline, with the ability to work independently.
- Proficiency in MS Office, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Education and Experience:
A high school diploma or business college degree is required, along with three to five years of experience in Customer Service or Account Management. Candidates should possess excellent communication and problem-solving skills, with a focus on exceeding customer expectations.
