Qualifications
  • Possession of an active, unrestricted Arizona driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Arizona Registered Land Surveyor or In-Training certification is advantageous.
  • A minimum of 5 years of substantial land surveying experience.
  • Familiarity with the Public Land Survey System, Arizona Boundary Survey Minimum Standards, municipal survey requirements, and ALTA/NSPS Minimum Standards.
  • Ability to interpret construction plans, details, and specifications; perform field calculations with an emphasis on thoroughness and quality control.
  • Willingness to undertake occasional multi-day in-state travel.
  • Self-motivated individual with minimal need for direct supervision.
Skills and Expectations
  • Proficient in the use of static GPS, robotic total stations, digital levels, Trimble equipment, and data collectors.
  • Experienced in establishing survey control, property boundaries, ALTA surveys, and topographic surveys.
  • Skilled in construction staking for utilities, residential, and commercial projects.
  • Experience in supervising and mentoring team members.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently once assigned tasks.
  • Local candidates are preferred.
  • Capability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
