Survey Technician

Overview:
Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. is seeking a skilled Survey Technician to join our team. As a Survey Technician, you will be responsible for conducting field surveys, operating robotic total stations and GPS receivers, and collecting relevant data and information. You will work independently and with crew members to complete tasks efficiently and accurately.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct field surveys and collect data using robotic total stations and GPS receivers
- Operate survey equipment, including Trimble Robotic Total Stations and Trimble scanners
- Collect and transfer field data
- Use descriptor coding, file upload and download, and coordinate translation, rotation, and datum adjustment
- Experience with Arizona State Plane coordinate system and field procedures associated with Boundary surveys, ALTA surveys, Records of Surveys, and Civil Design surveys
Requirements:
- 1 year minimum experience as a Survey Technician
- Proficient at field note taking and survey equipment setup and use
- Proficient with field data collection and transfer, descriptor coding, file upload and download, and coordinate translation, rotation, and datum adjustment
- Valid State of Arizona drivers license is mandatory
