Job Title: Survey CAD Technician

HILGARTWILSON, an affiliate of Colliers Engineering & Design, is seeking a skilled Survey CAD Technician to join our team. As a Survey CAD Technician, you will play a crucial role in preparing electronic drawings from field data, legal documents, marked-up plans, and verbal instructions using Civil 3D.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare electronic drawings from field data, legal documents, marked-up plans, and verbal instructions using Civil 3D.
  • Develop boundary, topographic, and ALTA/NSPS surveys, subdivision plats, and results of land surveys.
  • Instruct survey crews in efficient coding, linework, and data collection procedures.
  • Produce metes and bounds legal descriptions and exhibits.
  • Organize and schedule own work to accomplish goals on projects within established budgets and timelines.
Qualifications:
  • Degree or computer-related certification.
  • 3+ years of Civil 3D experience with land survey projects.
  • Strong knowledge of AutoCAD.
  • Understands and is competent in the process of developing various types of survey drawings, including ATLA surveys.
  • Understands principles and requirements for subdivision platting.
  • Experience with Pix4D is a plus.
  • Ability to read, write, and understand English for purposes of comprehending written job-related communications and verbal instructions and interactions.
