Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Advanced Practice Nurse to join our team at the U.S. Department of Health & Human Services. As a primary care provider, you will be responsible for delivering comprehensive medical care to patients, including diagnostic, therapeutic, and preventive services.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide direct and comprehensive primary, preventive, and therapeutic medical care to patients, including counseling and coordinating services.
  • Conduct physical examinations, take case histories, and order laboratory studies during clinic visits.
  • Perform special procedures such as giving injections, applying or changing dressings, performing lumbar punctures, or suturing minor lacerations.
  • Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest medical knowledge and best practices through ongoing education and training.
Requirements
  • Master's degree in nursing from an accredited educational program.
  • Current, active, full, and unrestricted license or registration as a professional nurse from a State, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a territory of the United States.
  • At least one year of professional nursing experience in a clinical setting, with a focus on primary care.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information with discretion.
