Key Responsibilities- Provide direct and comprehensive primary, preventive, and therapeutic medical care to patients, including counseling and coordinating services.
- Conduct physical examinations, take case histories, and order laboratory studies during clinic visits.
- Perform special procedures such as giving injections, applying or changing dressings, performing lumbar punctures, or suturing minor lacerations.
- Work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to provide high-quality patient care.
- Stay up-to-date with the latest medical knowledge and best practices through ongoing education and training.
- Master's degree in nursing from an accredited educational program.
- Current, active, full, and unrestricted license or registration as a professional nurse from a State, the District of Columbia, the Commonwealth of Puerto Rico, or a territory of the United States.
- At least one year of professional nursing experience in a clinical setting, with a focus on primary care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information with discretion.
- Work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a high volume of patients.
- May be required to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
- May be required to travel to other locations for training or to provide care to patients.
