KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Formulate and execute essential talent acquisition strategies. Oversee the complete candidate lifecycle experience from sourcing, recruitment, internal collaboration, offer management, onboarding, integration, and career development planning.
- Design and implement employer branding and candidate experience strategies across various channels that align with organizational goals.
- Lead and mentor the talent acquisition team: motivate, empower, and support their growth and performance.
- Collaborate with business leaders to ensure a consistent employer brand and an engaging candidate experience.
- Educate and guide hiring managers on the available talent landscape, best recruiting practices, and their role in upholding the organization's hiring policies and values.
- Establish robust selection criteria and capabilities that yield high-quality hires.
- Champion workplace diversity and ensure recruitment strategies attract a varied candidate pool.
- Assess and follow up with management to evaluate the effectiveness of recruitment initiatives.
- Develop talent acquisition KPIs to assess TA performance.
- Work alongside the Talent Management team to identify talent shortages for key roles and build appropriate pipelines.
- Create and implement a framework for a network of external recruitment agencies, including financial and quality benchmarks.
- Enhance industry awareness and market intelligence regarding hiring and compensation trends and challenges.
- Collaborate with immigration specialists to initiate and manage visa sponsorships for international candidates.
- Coordinate with external relocation experts to facilitate the relocation of newly hired employees.
- Oversee applicant tracking systems.
- Develop cost-effective recruiting strategies that meet the organization's needs; implement new processes and continuously refine existing ones to further the company's mission of sourcing high-quality talent.
- Strengthen relationships with universities and business schools.
- Manage the internship program.
- Oversee temporary and consultant agreements.
- Engage in ad hoc projects as required.
- Bachelor's Degree is preferred.
- Experience in talent acquisition in a comparable role, with a minimum of 5-7 years in a TA capacity.
- At least 5 years in a managerial position leading successful teams.
- International experience/exposure is advantageous.
- Proficient understanding of the fashion industry and the ability to recruit accordingly.
- Exhibits executive presence.
- Demonstrates resilience and the ability to navigate the demands of a fast-paced, evolving, entrepreneurial environment with creative energy and ambiguity.
- Experience working within matrixed organizations.
- Strategic and capability-building experience.
- Expertise and ambition to develop a team and function.
- Strong leadership skills to foster collaboration and a team-oriented atmosphere across TA and TM groups.
- Experience with international relocation and visa processing is a plus.
- Upholds high standards of ethics, integrity, and confidentiality.
- Familiarity with ATS systems (Taleo), social media/online resources (LinkedIn), and recruiting workflows.
- Knowledge of federal, state, and local employment laws and practices.

- Ability to build trust and confidence with internal and external stakeholders. Highly organized and detail-oriented.
