Job Description Summary

The Night Auditor is a critical role within our hotel operations, responsible for ensuring the accuracy of all financial transactions and maintaining the integrity of our accounting systems. This position requires a high degree of attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and excellent communication abilities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Balance and audit all financial transactions, including room revenue, food and beverage sales, and telephone charges.
  • Prepare and submit accurate financial reports to management, including daily, weekly, and monthly summaries.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for guest services during overnight hours, responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Collaborate with the Operations Manager to resolve accounting discrepancies and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Process all cash and credit card transactions accurately and efficiently, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Perform other duties as assigned, including assisting with the preparation of reports, maintaining accurate records, and providing support to other departments as needed.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • One year of previous hotel experience preferred.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work accurately and efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with guests, colleagues, and management.
  • Ability to speak, read, and write fluent English; other languages beneficial.
  • Valid driver's license required.
