Job Title: Night Auditor

The Night Auditor at MCR Hotels is responsible for ensuring the accuracy and integrity of hotel financial transactions during the overnight shift. This role requires attention to detail, strong analytical skills, and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct nightly audits to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial transactions
  • Process and reconcile all financial transactions, including cash, credit card, and room charges
  • Prepare and review daily reports, including the Night Audit report and the Daily Flash Report
  • Balance the day's work, including miscellaneous revenue, telephone postings, and server and desk agent's paperwork
  • Transfer master or house accounts as necessary
  • Run morning reports according to MCR Hotels procedures
  • Complete any reports as requested by management in a timely manner
  • Provide exceptional customer service to guests, responding to their inquiries and resolving any issues in a professional and courteous manner
  • Maintain confidentiality and security of all guests and hotel information
Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree in a related field preferred
  • 1-2 years of experience in a hotel or related field, preferably in a night auditor or front desk role
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and accuracy
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills, with the ability to work effectively with guests and hotel staff
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong sense of accountability and responsibility
  • Basic math skills and proficiency in Windows operating systems, Company-approved spreadsheets, and word processing
