Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Food Service Assistant to join our team at Desert Mountain Club. As a Food Service Assistant, you will play a key role in ensuring the exceptional dining experience for our guests and members.

Responsibilities
  • Table Maintenance: Reset tables and ensure they are free of food particles and water spots. Set tables with clean linens, china, silverware, and glassware with attention to proper positioning of each.
  • Dish Removal and Cleaning: Remove dirty dishes from the dining room and carry them to the dishwashing area.
  • Stocking and Replenishment: Stock side stations with silverware, china, glass, ice, and any other items that may be needed.
  • Guest Service: Check on tables during service hours and provide water refills and clearing of dishes. Respond appropriately to guest requests and communicate them to the server as needed.
  • Food Delivery: Assist with food delivery, as needed.
  • Additional Duties: Assist in function set-up and tear-down, and perform other duties as assigned by management.
Physical Requirements and Working Conditions
  • Required to work days, nights, weekends, and holidays.
  • Required to stand for long periods of time.
