About the Role:

Fry's Food Stores is seeking a highly skilled and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer Service Representative. As a key member of our front-end team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, resolving customer concerns, and ensuring a seamless shopping experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide friendly and efficient customer service by greeting customers, answering questions, and resolving issues in a timely manner.
  • Operate a cash register, process transactions, and maintain accurate cash handling procedures.
  • Assist with front-end functions, including stocking, bagging, and cart collection.
  • Maintain a clean and organized store environment, adhering to company standards for safety and sanitation.
  • Work effectively as part of a team to achieve sales, profit, and labor goals.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 6 months of related experience or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Effective interpersonal and customer service skills.
  • Good math skills and ability to work accurately with cash handling procedures.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Word and Excel.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
