Job Summary

Aviation Technology Associates LLC is seeking an experienced Avionics Installation Specialist to lead and support the efforts of technicians performing avionics installations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in aviation electronics and be able to read and interpret blueprints and schematic diagrams.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide work direction to technicians and ensure completion of tasks within allotted time frames.
  • Install, modify, and fabricate wiring and electrical components, fixtures, and associated equipment in accordance with blueprints, worksheets, and engineering drawings.
  • Train other team members in associated work assignments and contribute to the development of employees and techniques.
  • Assist Engineering in resolving problems and making repairs per engineering direction.
  • Maintain required logs and records and ensure that work accomplished meets applicable regulatory requirements and customer specifications.
  • Enforce the company FOD program, tool control program, 5-S program, and all safety regulations.
Requirements
  • High School diploma/GED and two (2) years of accredited schooling in aviation electronics and two (2) years related work experience; or four (4) years experience in an avionics/electronic career field.
  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematic diagrams.
  • Possess a working knowledge of the Policies and Procedures manual, Inspection Procedures manual, and pertinent Process Specifications.
  • Possess the proven ability to move to new tasks with only a minimal, short-term impact to established goal hours and schedule.
  • Strong written and verbal skills required.
  • Computer keyboard skills necessary.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with installing wires and attaching terminals, pins, and or contacts.
  • Experience reading schematics and wiring diagrams.
  • Lab build experience.

The estimated pay rate for this position is $32.19 per hour.
