We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Administrative Division Manager to join our team at the City of Clovis, NM. As a key member of our Fire Department, you will be responsible for providing administrative support to the Fire Chief and overseeing the day-to-day operations of the administrative functions of the department.
Key Responsibilities- Provide executive-level administrative support to the Fire Chief, including preparing reports, presentations, and other materials as needed.
- Oversee the management of administrative staff, including supervising Medical Billing Specialists and Administrative Assistants.
- Develop and implement administrative policies and procedures to ensure efficient and effective operations.
- Manage the department's budget, including preparing and submitting budget reports and making recommendations for budget adjustments.
- Coordinate with other departments and agencies to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the Fire Chief.
- Bachelor's degree in Public Administration, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least three years of experience in fiscal management, payroll, and/or accounting.
- One year of experience in medical billing and coding.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
