Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Systems Engineer to join our team at INSPYR Solutions. As a key member of our technical staff, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing complex system solutions that meet the needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities:

  • System Design and Development: Define and develop system requirements, design and develop system architectures, and implement system solutions that meet the needs of our clients.
  • System Integration: Coordinate the integration of subsystems and total systems, and analyze and resolve program support deficiencies.
  • Technical Investigations: Conduct independent technical investigations in systems design, and perform engineering studies and analyzes system problems in support of developing system implementation solutions.
  • System Maintenance: Install, tune, upgrade, troubleshoot, and maintain all computer systems relevant to the supported applications, including operating system administration, user account management, disaster recovery strategy, and networking configuration.
  • Automation and Configuration: Automate the installation and configuration of applications in development and production environments.
  • Problem Prevention and Resolution: Develop and implement techniques to prevent system problems, troubleshoot incidents to recover services, and support root cause analysis.
  • Knowledge Improvement: Improve engineering job knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, benchmarking state-of-the-art practices, and participating in professional societies.
  • System Evaluation: Evaluate new systems by performing in-depth tests, including end-user reviews, and research software and related products to support recommendations and purchasing.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology or Computer Science.
  • Experience: 3 years of software, hardware, and/or systems engineering experience.
  • Preferred Qualifications: Knowledge of system engineering tools, advanced knowledge of programming languages and web-based technologies, proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, ability to collaborate to solve technical problems across teams, excellent communication skills, and ITIL Foundations v3 certification within 180 days.
