The Middlesex Corporation is seeking a skilled Carpenter to join our team. As a Carpenter, you will be responsible for constructing and assembling concrete forming systems, according to blueprints and specifications.
Key Responsibilities- Comply with and promote all Safety policies and procedures, including reporting accidents and incidents.
- Construct, erect, install, and repair structures, scaffolding, and framework using hand and power tools.
- Interpret blueprints, sketches, or building plans to determine dimensions and material requirements.
- Maintain and operate power equipment, such as concrete pumps and rebar installation tools.
- Secure and store tools, equipment, and materials at the end of each workday.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Heavy Civil Construction.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and assemble/disassemble heavy form systems.
- Knowledge of concrete placement/finishing, rebar installation, and leveling tools.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to manage a team.
- Self-starter with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
