Job Summary:

As a Respiratory Therapist working per-diem at Southern Regional Medical Center, you will be part of an award-winning team dedicated to delivering compassionate, quality care to patients. Our hospital offers a complete line of services, including Senior Care and Senior Behavioral Health Services, Emergency Services, and more.

Under the direction of the medical director and cardiopulmonary director, you will be responsible for performing respiratory therapeutic and pulmonary diagnostic procedures as ordered by the physician. Emphasis will be on assessment, planning, implementation, and documentation of care, with consideration of age and population-specific needs and requirements of the patient.

Responsibilities:
  • Perform respiratory therapeutic and pulmonary diagnostic procedures as ordered by the physician.
  • Assess, plan, implement, and document care, considering age and population-specific needs and requirements.
  • May be assigned as Lead RCP in the absence of a supervisor.

Qualifications:
  • State Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) License required.
  • Current BCLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.
  • Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification from the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC) required.
