Overview

We are seeking a skilled Respiratory Therapist to join our team at Southern Regional Medical Center, a member of Prime Healthcare. As a Respiratory Therapist, you will be responsible for performing respiratory therapeutic and pulmonary diagnostic procedures as ordered by the physician.

Responsibilities

Under the direction and authorization of the medical director and cardiopulmonary director, the RCP II will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and documenting care, with consideration of age and population specific needs and requirements of the patient.

Qualifications

We require a State Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) License, current BCLS (AHA) certificate, and Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) certification from the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC). Two years of experience as an RCP is preferred, along with ACLS, NRP, and PALS certificates. An Associate Degree or Bachelor of Science degree is also preferred.
