Job Title: Senior Property Accountant

The Wilner Group is seeking a highly skilled Senior Property Accountant to join our team. As a Senior Property Accountant, you will be responsible for reviewing, guiding, and mentoring Property Staff Accountants, maintaining work papers, and assisting in the preparation of audited financial statements and tax returns.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Review and guide Property Staff Accountants to ensure accurate and timely completion of work.
  • Maintain work papers and assist in the preparation of audited financial statements and tax returns.
  • Review monthly bank reconciliations and record and review monthly adjusting, prepaid, and accrual entries.
  • Monitor cash balances and recommend capital calls and distributions from/to investors.
  • Review monthly financial statement analysis according to GAAP.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting and at least 5 years of experience are required.
  • Experience in the real estate/property management field is preferred.
  • Accuracy and timeliness in the completion of the workload is required in this position.
  • RealPage experience is a plus.
  • Supervisory experience is a plus.
