Nursing Educator

At Albany Medical Center, we are committed to providing exceptional patient care and advancing the field of nursing education. As an RN Educator, you will play a vital role in implementing and evaluating patient care plans, collaborating with our Pediatric Departmental Care Team to ensure seamless delivery of services.
The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree or be currently enrolled in a BSN program. A current Registered Professional Nurse license is also required. Previous experience in educational program development and teaching is highly preferred.
In this role, you will develop and execute educational activities for nursing staff, ensuring compliance with training requirements. You will also act as a clinical lead in the absence of the Nurse Supervisor or Nurse Manager. The RN Educator may provide direct patient care, patient triage, assessment, planning, directing, and evaluating of a patient's specific care plan and clinic visit.
We offer a competitive salary range of $85,000 - $115,000 per year, depending on experience. Key Responsibilities:

Requirements:

Work Environment:
The RN Educator will work primarily in our OBGYN Generalist department, with occasional opportunities to collaborate with other departments. We strive to maintain a moderate noise level and a safe working environment.
