We are seeking a skilled Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our interdisciplinary team at Kingston Rehabilitation Nursing Center. This role offers an exciting opportunity for a compassionate and dedicated nurse to make a positive impact on the lives of seniors.

About the Role

This position involves providing high-quality patient care to residents with varying healthcare needs. As an LPN, you will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to develop personalized care plans that cater to each resident's unique requirements.

Your responsibilities will include conducting comprehensive health assessments, administering medications and treatments according to physician orders, monitoring vital signs, and responding to medical emergencies. You will also be involved in educating residents and their families on health-related topics and promoting preventive care.

To succeed in this role, you must possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written. Your ability to provide compassionate care, address challenging situations with a smile, and maintain accurate records will be invaluable assets to our team.

Requirements
  • A graduate or future graduate from an accredited nursing program
  • A current state license as a Licensed Practical Nurse
  • Minimum 1 year experience as an LPN in a long-term care setting
  • Exceptional problem-solving skills
  • The ability to interact professionally and compassionately with residents, families, and other staff members
