Job Title: Engineering Technician

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Technician to join our team at Westwood Professional Services, Inc. in Appleton, WI.

About the Role:

This is an exciting opportunity to work on diversified projects supporting our public infrastructure team. As an Engineering Technician, you will be responsible for preparing various exhibits and design drawings using AutoCAD Civil3D, coordinating with agency staff and internal support teams on designs, analysis, and issues, and preparing project specifications, cost estimates, and construction plans.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare various exhibits and design drawings using AutoCAD Civil3D
  • Coordinate with agency staff and internal support teams on designs, analysis, and issues
  • Prepare project specifications, cost estimates, and construction plans
  • Assist with construction drawings using AutoCAD Civil3D, including grading plans, plan and profiles, construction details, storm sewer, water and sewer facilities, pavement marking plans, cross sections
  • Assist Project Engineers to make inspections and/or tests of work being performed, and materials used on construction projects, maintaining project diaries and reports
Requirements:
  • An Associate Degree in Civil Engineering Technology is preferred but not required
  • Must have a valid driver's license. You will be reimbursed for business-related travel
  • 3+ years of experience desired
