Job Summary

As a Survey Crew Chief at Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc., you will lead a team of professionals in conducting field surveys for boundary, ALTA/ACSM Land Title, topographic, photo control, route, and construction stakeout projects. Your expertise will be essential in ensuring the efficient operation of the field crew, adhering to standard operating procedures and current health and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate robotic total stations and GPS receivers to collect accurate data and information.
  • Develop and implement survey plans, schedules, and assignments.
  • Conduct courthouse research to collect right-of-way property information.
  • Develop deed work maps, base maps, and other survey-related documents.
  • Maintain company equipment and survey vehicles.

Requirements
  • 5+ years of survey experience.
  • Skilled in GPS devices, data collectors, and/or total stations.
  • Knowledge of land surveying principles, techniques, and practices.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Valid driver's license.
