Survey Crew Chief

Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled Survey Crew Chief to lead our field survey operations. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for conducting boundary surveys, ALTA/ACSM Land Title surveys, topographic surveys, photo control surveys, route surveys, and construction stakeout.
Key Responsibilities- Lead a team of surveyors in the field, ensuring efficient and accurate data collection.
- Operate robotic total stations and GPS receivers to collect relevant data and information.
- Develop and maintain standard operating procedures and current health and safety standards.
- Collaborate with licensed surveyors to develop deed work maps, base maps, and conduct courthouse research.
- Ensure compliance with industry-specific safe workplace principles and practices.
- 5+ years of survey experience.
- Skilled in the use of GPS devices, data collectors, and/or Total Station.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Knowledge of land surveying principles, techniques, and practices.
- Valid Driver's License.
