Join Our Team as a Cannabis Brand Representative for New Jersey

Role Overview:

We are seeking an enthusiastic Cannabis Brand Representative to embody the essence of 1906 and New Jersey's cannabis dispensaries. As a key representative, you will be instrumental in enhancing brand visibility, educating retail staff, forging lasting partnerships, and engaging with the community. This role requires a commitment of 15-20 hours per week, primarily during weekends.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Core Duties:
    • Serve as a prominent representative in dispensaries and industry events
    • Inspire and engage retail staff, elevate brand presence for 1906 and New Jersey Cannabis in retail environments, and drive sales
    • Deliver product knowledge and benefits to customers and retail teams
    • Oversee in-store visual merchandising and manage product displays
    • Provide comprehensive post-event reports to our Sales and Field Marketing teams
    • Exhibit unwavering brand loyalty and professionalism

Desired Qualifications:

  • A friendly, engaging, and approachable personality
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication abilities
  • Availability to work on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays
  • Proven track record in relationship building
  • Strong emphasis on punctuality and effective time management
  • Physical capability to navigate retail spaces for extended durations
  • High ethical standards and integrity
  • Technologically savvy with a keen attention to detail
  • Basic knowledge of the cannabis industry and culture
  • Access to a personal vehicle with adequate space for event materials
  • Valid driver's license and dependable transportation
    • Minimum of 1 year in retail sales
    • Previous experience in product-driven sales is advantageous
    • Experience in beauty sales is a plus

Required Background:

  • Experience in retail sales, with skills in persuasion, problem-solving, and active listening
  • Prior involvement in health & wellness, alcoholic beverages, or beauty industries
