Job Overview

ATCS, PLC is seeking a skilled Financial Analyst to contribute to the financial health and success of our projects. This is a full-time, hybrid role with three days per week required onsite in our Herndon headquarters.

The successful candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial integrity of our operations and collaborating with cross-functional teams to streamline financial processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare and analyze monthly financial statements and reports to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Assist in monthly financial close processes, including the annual closing, to ensure timely and accurate financial reporting.
  • Reconcile bank statements to identify and resolve any discrepancies.
  • Perform general ledger account reconciliations to ensure precision and accuracy.
  • Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts to inform business decisions.
  • Coordinate and support the annual audit process to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Review and process journal entries to ensure proper documentation and accuracy.
  • Manage fixed asset accounting and depreciation schedules to ensure accurate financial reporting.
  • Maintain and improve the prepaid expense schedule to optimize financial performance.
  • Support the implementation and enhancement of accounting systems and processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
  • Provide financial analysis and insights to aid in decision-making and drive business growth.
Desired Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Strong knowledge of GAAP and accounting principles.
  • Proficiency in accounting software; Deltek Software experience is a plus.
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational abilities.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Benefits

ATCS, PLC offers a competitive salary range of $56,000 to $90,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications. The role is also eligible for an annual bonus, with a target 2% of the employee's annualized salary.
