Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Private Wealth Advisor to join our team at Bank of Montreal. As a Private Wealth Advisor, you will be responsible for providing exceptional client service and building strong relationships with high net worth clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and execute business development strategies to attract and retain clients
  • Provide proactive delivery of holistic advice and solutions to meet clients' specific financial planning needs
  • Coordinate with internal teams to craft and execute creative solutions for clients
  • Develop and execute sales targets and results for assigned regions
  • Build and maintain internal and external networks to grow business
  • Enhance presence in the marketplace through collaboration with experts
  • Act as primary Relationship Manager for assigned client relationships
  • Lead and assist in creating business proposals and presentations
  • Produce client reports and assess clients at-risk for retention
  • Proactively identify client needs and concerns to diagnose and facilitate resolution
  • Introduce subject matter experts to clients
  • Share wealth solutions expertise and product knowledge across regional teams
  • Develop solutions and make recommendations based on business strategy and stakeholder needs
  • Conduct independent analysis and assessment to resolve strategic issues
  • Build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Ensure alignment between stakeholders
  • Bridge banking, trust, and investment disciplines for client communications
  • Monitor and track performance, and address any issues
  • Design and produce regular and ad-hoc reports and dashboards
Requirements
  • Typically between 7 years of relevant experience and post-secondary degree in related field of study or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • MBA certification preferred
  • Experience dealing with HNW clients and equivalent knowledge base
  • Certified Financial Planner is preferred
  • Broad knowledge of all facets of wealth management
  • In-depth knowledge of Bank products, services, and capabilities
  • Deep knowledge and technical proficiency gained through extensive education and business experience
