Position Summary

The main duty of a sleigh ride driver is to ensure the safe and timely transport of guests from the base area to on-mountain dining venues using a sleigh towed by a snow cat.

Position Specifications:

  • Housing: May be available.
  • Expected Pay Range: $21.36 per hour.
  • Shift & Schedule Availability: Full Time and Part Time.
  • Skill Level: Advanced.

Key Responsibilities

  • Safely operate a snow cat (Pisten Bully or Prinoth) with a large sleigh attached, ensuring personal and passenger safety.
  • Transport guests to various mountain dining locations, adhering to approved routes and understanding the capabilities of the snow cat.
  • Conduct pre- and post-operation checks on the snow cat, including paperwork, fluid levels, damage assessment, snow removal, and fueling.
  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and management regarding any issues or incidents, as well as report any damage to the snow cat to maintenance.
  • Utilize a two-way radio to inform the rest of the team about your location, status, and timeline.
  • Deliver exceptional service to all guests, assisting the sleigh host as needed.
  • Maintain a professional appearance by adhering to the company presentation policy, keeping your uniform clean, and arriving with a positive attitude.
  • Perform other assigned duties as necessary.

Position Requirements:

  • Fluency in reading, writing, speaking, and understanding English is required.
  • A valid driver's license with no restrictions is mandatory.
  • A satisfactory Motor Vehicle Reference check is required.
  • Applicants must be at least 18 years old.
  • A high school diploma or equivalent is necessary.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs is required.
  • Physical capability to frequently climb on and off heavy equipment is essential.
  • Must be able to sit for extended periods while operating a snow cat.

The expected pay range is $21.36 per hour. This reflects the compensation we anticipate for this role, with individual decisions based on various factors.
