Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Intermediate Equipment Operator to join our team at Vail Resorts. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for operating a variety of equipment, trucks, and tractors to perform street and utility repair, maintenance, and construction of facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operate heavy equipment and vehicles to perform routine maintenance and repairs on roads and facilities.
  • Provide year-round maintenance and snow removal services during the winter months.
  • Perform skilled and semi-skilled labor in support of normal work activities, including welding and repair of equipment.
  • Deliver and pick up materials, such as topsoil, road base, and asphalt.
  • Work collaboratively with a team to achieve project goals and objectives.
Requirements
  • Valid Class A or B CDL required.
  • Clean driving record required.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Able to read, write, speak, understand, and comprehend English fluently.
  • Able to lift and carry 50 pounds.
  • Able to work outdoors in an alpine environment.
