We are seeking a seasoned and experienced Reservoir Engineer to join our client's development team as an advisor. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in reservoir engineering, with a focus on offshore Gulf of Mexico deepwater projects.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with drilling, completions, and production operations teams to develop near and in-field opportunities.
  • Work with geologic and reservoir professionals to analyze and optimize reservoir performance.
  • Assist in troubleshooting underperforming wells and generating SEC reserve reporting data.
  • Develop and maintain reservoir models to inform business decisions.
  • Mentor and guide lesser-experienced engineers to ensure knowledge transfer and growth.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
  • 20+ years of progressive career experience in reservoir engineering, with 15+ years in offshore GoM and at least 5 years in GoM deepwater.
  • Experience with classic reservoir engineering tools, including PVT, PTA analyses, and material balance.
  • Proficiency in network modeling, reservoir simulation, economic assessments, and field development studies/plans.
  • Preferred software experience includes PTA/Kappa, PVT Sim, ValNav, tNavigator/Eclipse, or similar.
  • U.S. Citizen or U.S. Permanent Residency status is required.
