Job Description

Wipro is seeking a highly experienced Reservoir Engineer to lead our Reservoir Management team. The ideal candidate will have 15-20 years of experience in reservoir engineering, with a strong background in reservoir simulation and modeling.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, direct, and supervise reservoir studies and simulation projects
  • Lead the development of reservoir models and conduct history matching and maintenance
  • Collaborate with peers and asset management to develop subsurface programs
  • Prepare input assumptions and generate production profiles and reserves scenarios
  • Conduct well testing planning and analysis
  • Develop reservoir and production optimization strategies
  • Prepare reservoir input and scenarios for drilling and completion departments
  • Basic Reservoir Engineering Activities

Requirements:

  • Professional Reservoir Engineer with 15-20 years of experience in the oil and gas industry
  • Broad hands-on Reservoir Engineering experience covering a wide range of hydrocarbon systems
  • Experience in appraisal and development of both green and mature fields in clastic settings
  • Specialty in compositional and black oil Reservoir Simulation
  • Good working knowledge of EOR and Petrel
  • Experience in use of various standard industry packages for reservoir analyses

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Geographical experience in Africa and the Middle East
  • Proven abilities in surveillance management of reservoir and dynamic simulation model
  • Good working knowledge of Economics and Planning
  • Strategic Management implementation, Business Innovation
