Position Overview: Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP)

Type: Full-Time
Duration: Full School Year

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify speech and language impairments, including issues related to articulation, fluency, and voice.
  • Design and execute tailored therapy programs based on evaluation findings and individual student requirements.
  • Deliver direct therapeutic interventions to students through both individual and group sessions.
  • Work collaboratively with educators, families, and other specialists to enhance students' communication objectives and incorporate therapy into educational environments.
  • Track and document student advancements, modifying therapy strategies as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Engage in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and assist in formulating educational strategies and plans.
  • Offer advice and resources to educators and families on methods to support communication skill development both at home and in the classroom.

Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Current state licensure and Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) are mandatory.
  • Prior experience in an educational setting with children is preferred.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
