Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Wastewater Treatment Plant Operator to join our team at Camelback Lodge. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the efficient and safe operation of our wastewater treatment facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facility Monitoring: Monitor the operations of all wastewater facilities owned by Camelback Lodge, ensuring compliance with regulatory permits and standard operating procedures.
  • Testing and Analysis: Conduct regular testing and analysis of wastewater samples to ensure proper treatment and reporting.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on plant equipment, including pumps, motors, instruments, and chemical feed equipment.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of test results, measurements, and observations, as well as facility records and operating data.
  • Grounds Maintenance: Maintain the grounds, buildings, and infrastructure of the wastewater treatment areas.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience: High school diploma or equivalent required; experience in wastewater treatment operations and maintenance preferred.
  • Skills and Abilities: Good mechanical skills, ability to make mathematical calculations, and ability to traverse steep terrain.
  • Physical Demands: Ability to lift and carry a minimum of 50 pounds, work in a fast-paced environment, and meet safety requirements for hazardous chemical handling.
  • Language Skills: Ability to speak and read English fluently; additional languages a plus.
