Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Alterations Customer Service Representative to join our team at David's Bridal. As a key member of our Alterations department, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, ensuring a seamless experience for our customers, and contributing to the overall success of our store.

Key Responsibilities
  • Welcome and Service Customers: Greet all customers with a smile, communicate clearly and concisely, and adapt your style to suit their needs.
  • Manage Customer Flow: Use all systems to deliver a five-star customer experience, meet all service vows, and maintain a clean and organized store.
  • Provide Exceptional Service: Proactively address customer concerns, know when to escalate, and partner with leadership to ensure a flawless shopping experience.
  • Promote Alterations Services: Effectively communicate how alterations can perfect the dress for our customers' events, promote all alterations services and personalization options, and maintain high dress code standards.
  • Support Inventory Management: Process special orders, pick-ups, and first-quality standards for all merchandise, and support cash wrap behaviors and transactions with accuracy.
Requirements
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent: Required.
  • 1-2 Years Retail Experience: Prior experience in an apparel or specialty store environment is preferred.
  • Prior Sewing Experience: Helpful, but not required.
  • Computerized POS System Experience: Prior experience with computerized POS systems is required.
