Position Overview

ACCEL Schools is in search of a dedicated After School Event Supervisor to join our team. This role is pivotal in fostering a supportive and engaging environment for students during after school hours.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise after school programs and encourage positive student engagement in both academic and extracurricular activities.
  • Ensure student safety and maintain a constructive school atmosphere.
  • Support the School Leader and Teachers by fulfilling assigned responsibilities in alignment with the philosophy and policies of ACCEL Schools and applicable regulations.
  • Perform additional duties as required.

Qualifications:

  • Associate Degree or completion of two years of college coursework, or successful passage of the Para Professional's Exam.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Successful completion of background checks.
  • Ability to meet educational standards as required.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Understanding of confidentiality protocols.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Physical capability to lift 25-40 lbs.
  • Experience in educational or social service environments is advantageous.
