About the Position

Virginia Commonwealth University Health Systems is seeking a skilled Physical Therapist to deliver high-quality care to patients. As a member of our team, you will have the opportunity to work with a diverse patient population and contribute to the development of innovative treatment plans.

Responsibilities

This position requires:

  • Patient evaluation and implementation of plans of care
  • Discharge planning and representation at rounds and conferences
  • Equipment ordering and scheduling
  • Supervision of Physical Therapist Assistants, Rehab Technicians, students, and volunteers
Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A Master's or Doctoral Degree from an accredited School of Physical Therapy (preferred)
  • Licensure or licensure eligibility by the Commonwealth of Virginia as a Physical Therapist
  • Current CPR Certification if required by clinic or practice area
Working Conditions

This role requires frequent bending, walking, climbing, reaching, and repetitive motion. You must be able to lift 50-100 lbs and work in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities.
