Job Responsibilities:

  • Design and implement engineering solutions for testing and evaluating systems, equipment, and devices, adhering to established engineering principles and specifications.
  • Develop comprehensive test plans, schedules, and requirements for both new and existing designs; lead the development of testing resources, including tooling, fixtures, scripts, automation, and apparatuses.
  • Facilitate communication with management and both internal and external testing partners regarding testing progress, project updates, test outcomes, and resolution of issues.
  • Lead a team of test engineers and external partners to create and execute reliable, cost-effective, and high-quality testing solutions for moderately complex products.
  • Act as the representative for the test engineering team throughout all phases of larger and more complex development projects.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior staff members on software best practices.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8 years of relevant experience.
  • Must be a U.S. citizen.
  • Willingness to obtain a security clearance if required.

Skills and Expertise:

  • Proficient in Python, Bash, and script writing for automating testing processes and specific tasks.
  • Possess a mentoring attitude to support team members in developing efficient software solutions.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; mastery of English, with the ability to effectively convey testing plans, proposals, and results to management.
