About the Job

AmeriPro EMS is seeking a skilled Paramedic to join our team on a part-time basis. As a Paramedic, you will be responsible for providing emergency medical services to patients in the Atlanta, GA area. You will work closely with our team to ensure that patients receive the highest level of care and attention.

Responsibilities

As a Paramedic, your responsibilities will include:

  • Providing emergency medical services to patients in the Atlanta, GA area
  • Working closely with our team to ensure that patients receive the highest level of care and attention
  • Developing and implementing treatment plans for patients
  • Communicating effectively with patients, families, and healthcare providers
  • Maintaining accurate and detailed records of patient care


Requirements

To be considered for this position, you must have:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent qualification
  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in the EMS field
  • A state-specific Paramedic license in good standing or current NREMT certification
  • Current certifications in CPR, BLS, ACLS, and PCC/PALS
  • A valid state-specific driver's license
  • Successful completion of a comprehensive background check and drug screening
  • Strong people skills and proven ability to collaborate within a team
  • Proficient verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to comprehend and execute verbal and written instructions in English


Preferred Qualifications

While not required, we prefer candidates with:

  • Previous experience working as a Paramedic or in a similar medical role
  • Additional certification or advanced training in emergency services, such as Advanced Medical Life Support (AMLS), Pre-Hospital Trauma Life Support (PHTLS), and/or Advanced Trauma Life Support (ATLS) training
  • Technology proficiency


Working Environment

As a Paramedic, you will work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, often in challenging conditions. You will be required to work irregular shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays. You will also be required to attend meetings and training sessions, some of which may take place outside of regular working hours.
