Job Summary

As a Donation Attendant, you will play a critical role in providing exceptional customer service to our donors, while also ensuring that our donation process runs smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Service: Project a positive image of Goodwill to all donors, providing prompt and courteous service to ensure a positive experience.
  • Donation Processing: Sort and process donations in accordance with Goodwill's guidelines, maintaining a clean and organized work environment.
  • Inventory Management: Maintain accurate records of donations received, ensuring that all items are properly sorted and processed.
  • Communication: Effectively communicate with donors, colleagues, and management to ensure seamless operations.
Requirements
  • Education: High School diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Experience: Prior experience in customer service or a related field preferred.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and physical stamina to lift and carry objects up to 25 pounds frequently and 50 pounds occasionally.
Working Conditions

Considerable physical exertion, exposure to unfit donated goods and materials. Alternate work schedule may include working at an attended donation station with no prior notice.
