About Denver Springs: We are a 96-bed behavioral health facility located in Englewood, CO, providing both inpatient and outpatient services for mental health and addiction treatment to individuals and families. Our mission is centered around Changing People's Lives.
Role of the Assessment Department: The Assessment team is crucial in achieving our mission by evaluating the needs of individuals seeking help. As an Assessment Coordinator, you will support the team in delivering thorough assessments and quality therapeutic care for those facing substance abuse, dual diagnosis, or emotional and psychiatric challenges.
Key Responsibilities:
- Evaluate the needs of individuals contacting us via phone or in-person to ensure they are directed to the appropriate services.
- Assist in scheduling initial psychiatric evaluations for individuals seeking treatment and communicate their symptoms to the psychiatrist for optimal care recommendations.
- Refer and triage individuals to alternative treatment resources when necessary.
- Handle inquiries regarding treatment options and the facility, document interactions, and set appointments for those seeking assistance.
- Collaborate with the business office to facilitate a seamless admission process.
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in clerical or administrative roles is required.
