Regional Operations Manager

As a Regional Operations Manager at BYD North America, you will be responsible for leading the service team and overseeing the O&M work of all BESS project sites in your assigned region. You will work closely with the commissioning team to ensure successful project commissioning and handover into warranty period. Additionally, you will manage all BYD assets, handle customer warranty claims, and provide guaranteed warranty service in your region.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with the commissioning team to ensure successful project commissioning and handover into warranty period.
- Build, manage, and train the local service team or third-party contractor in your assigned region.
- Interface with customers for all BESS projects in your region during the warranty period.
- Work with local and overseas design teams to resolve warranty claims in your region.
- Develop and implement annual maintenance plans for all projects in your region.
- Maintain troubleshooting skills for BESS projects and instruct daily work for local service teams.
- Provide monthly O&M reports for all BESS projects in your region.
- Manage spare parts and maintain a stable and safe inventory for operations.
- Record and manage important tools and equipment provided to maintenance personnel.
- Report and escalate to management as needed.
- Manage relationships with clients and stakeholders.
- Establish and maintain relationships with third-party vendors.
- Collaborate and communicate effectively with a multinational team under demanding timelines.
- Represent the Department at internal and external meetings when instructed.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
- Over 2 years of customer service management experience.
- Over 1 year of work experience in the new energy area.
This position requires long-term outdoor work, learning and mastering specialized debugging software, and using various types of basic electrical tools.
This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, and fax machines.

The employee must occasionally lift or move up to 25 pounds.
Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.
