Compensation and Benefits

Job Description

Patient Care Specialist - Physical Therapist

Provides treatment to patients by evaluating their function and selecting and applying appropriate treatments to improve or restore function. Participates in an interdisciplinary approach for in-service and community education and in the clinical education of affiliating students. May be responsible for cross-site coverage.

Required Skills and Qualifications

This position requires an individual with strong English communication skills, both verbal and written. The ideal candidate must have personal computer skills and be proficient in the use of Windows-based programs needed for department functions. Basic keyboarding and skill in using Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and search capabilities on the internet are desirable but not required. Reliable transportation is necessary to travel between multiple work sites.

Educational Requirements

A graduate of an accredited program of Physical Therapy with a minimum of a Bachelor's degree is required. A current Connecticut license in Physical Therapy is also mandatory.
