HIV Medical Affairs Manager Position

We are looking for a highly motivated Medical Affairs Manager to join our Global Medical Affairs team who is passionate about person-centric HIV care and treatment. The successful candidate will play an instrumental part in helping the Medical Affairs organization support current HIV Daily Oral Treatment strategies.

This role can be based in Foster City, Stockley Park, or remotely and is a 9-month contractor position.

The core responsibilities of this role include:

  • Serving as a key contributor and knowledge expert for Global HIV Treatment Medical Affairs
  • Managing projects related to analysis of new, emerging data and determining relevant information to incorporate into medical content trainings
  • Participating in Medical Affairs global activities including management of conference data and medical sub-team meetings
  • Creating, reviewing, and updating assigned Medical Affairs slide decks, local and global response documents, and other medical training deliverables
  • Helping the Global Medical Affairs team develop the global Plan of Action and ensuring alignment of team activities
  • Developing and maintaining the HIV Sharepoint Page to disseminate information on current and future HIV treatment products
  • Providing ad-hoc support to globalization sub-groups such as topical decks and HIV databases
  • Supporting HIV Medical Affairs Advisory Programs, as needed
  • Working collaboratively with Medical Scientists, Medical Information, Clinical Research, and Clinical Pharmacology to support responses to medical inquiries

The ideal candidate will have a MD, DO, NP, PA, PhD, PharmD, or other advanced healthcare degree and 1-3 years of industry experience, preferably in a clinical and scientific role related to HIV. Excellent verbal and written communication skills, interpersonal skills, and experience in preparing and delivering PowerPoint presentations are also required.

In addition, the ability to synthesize findings and clearly articulate implications from multiple sources of information and to formulate strong, actionable recommendations is essential.

We estimate that this position will come with a salary range of $120,000 - $150,000 per year, depending on location and experience. Please note that this is an estimate and actual salaries may vary.
