Ryder System is seeking a skilled Diesel Parts Inventory Coordinator to join our team. This role will play a crucial part in overseeing the ordering, receiving, and inventory of parts at our Bridgeport, CT location.

Job Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate inventory levels, processing Purchase Orders, and maintaining a clean and organized parts room. Additional duties include conducting physical inventory, shipping warranty and parts returns to vendors, and contributing to cost containment through effective parts processes and policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversight of parts ordering, receiving, and inventory management
  • Processing of Purchase Orders and supplier invoices
  • Maintaining accurate inventory levels and preventing obsolescence
  • Shipping warranty and parts returns to vendors
  • Promoting cost containment through efficient parts management practices

Requirements:

  • H.S. diploma/GED required
  • 1+ year experience in inventory and parts administration/clerical functions preferred
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Detailed-oriented with excellent follow-up practices
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
