Job Summary

We are seeking a Part Time Auto Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our auto mall team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive experience for our customers, and supporting our sales and service teams.

Responsibilities
  • Provide exceptional customer service, ensuring a positive experience for our customers
  • Assist and direct customers as needed, establishing rapport and building trust
  • Drive vehicles to parking as needed, maintaining a safe and efficient process
  • Be a goodwill ambassador for the facility, promoting a positive image of Uftring Auto Mall
  • Notify manager of customer concerns, ensuring prompt resolution
  • Maintain a positive attitude towards customer satisfaction, consistently delivering high-quality service
  • Maintain communication with Service staff, ensuring seamless coordination
  • Operate shuttles to homes and businesses when needed, providing convenient transportation
  • Willingness to help as needed in other tasks in the Service department, demonstrating flexibility and teamwork
  • Deliver cars to Service entrance for cashier, ensuring efficient processing
  • Install floor mats, seat covers, and key tags, maintaining a high level of quality
  • Check vehicle for physical damage, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail
  • Take vehicles to car wash to be cleaned, maintaining a clean and safe environment
Requirements
  • Friendly, outgoing personality with a positive attitude
  • Capable of communication with customers, ensuring clear and effective interaction
  • Sensitivity to customer concerns, demonstrating empathy and understanding
  • General knowledge of the Peoria Metro area and its streets and major businesses
  • Be able to take direction and responsibilities, demonstrating accountability and initiative
  • Neat, professional appearance, maintaining a high level of personal presentation
  • Must have a valid Illinois driver's license with an acceptable driving record
  • Ability and desire to deliver world-class service to our customers on a daily basis
  • Some mechanical knowledge a plus, demonstrating a willingness to learn and grow
