Job Summary

The Acute Clinical Quality Manager (AQM) is responsible for the relationship management and clinical operations of all assigned acute dialysis facilities. This includes quality care, clinical outcomes, compliance with regulations, and the ordering and delivery of dialysis supplies. The AQM will also be responsible for teammate training, continuing education, and changes in care released by industry leaders and regulators.

Responsibilities
  • Develop strong relationships with client staff and actively seek out ways to add value to the client.
  • Maintain prompt and open communication with hospital staff, and function as the on-site dialysis expert/resource.
  • Conduct weekly/monthly and quarterly quality audits to ensure compliance with Client and Rendevor Dialysis Policies and Procedures.
  • Support overall Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) Program.
  • Support the Biomedical Program at client sites.
  • Responsible for reviewing any policy and procedure changes, updates and/or additions with dialysis unit managers.
  • Assist in training hospital staff on any of the following modalities as applicable: hemodialysis, peritoneal dialysis, CRRT, and apheresis.
  • Gather monthly treatment rosters from each facility and submit to the Rendevor Dialysis A/R Team.
  • Assist Rendevor Dialysis Leadership Team with developing and executing Corrective Action Plans.
  • Actively assist with and participate in new unit/facility program implementations.
  • Participate in the development and implementation of the area strategic plans, goals and objectives.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an accredited nursing program required.
  • Current state license as a Registered Nurse.
  • CPR - AHA BLS certification.
  • 3-5 years of nephrology experience, PD preferred.
  • Six months Acute Dialysis experience.
  • Ability to travel and schedule flexibility.
  • Ability to satisfactorily communicate in English.
  • Member of ISPD, ANNA and CNN preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Maintains current knowledge of health law, regulation, and market changes.
  • Experience as a leader in acute dialysis.
  • Strong writing skills with experience in developing, implementing, and maintaining policies, procedures, and training.
  • Experience leading new program transitions and implementations.
  • Experience with acute HD, PD, CRRT, and apheresis modalities.
